Easily Fix Your Vape in No Time at All with These Simple Solutions

Relaxing back and taking a pull on your vape is one of life’s little pleasures, but if it isn’t working properly it can be a nightmare to pinpoint the problem! It can be so frustrating and you may think you need to send it off to an expert which can take a while.

Your vape is going to have a problem occasionally and usually the problem is minor and easily fixable if you have some guidance. Take a look through this article to see if you can find the answer or have a look at Part 1 of this series and you should be able to fix any problems yourself.

Vape Tank is Gurgling and Spitting

This problem is usually caused by too much e-liquid being released onto the coil. This causes the e-liquid to oversaturate the coil and the heat not being able to vaporise the liquid, resulting in a spit back and gurgling sounds. Possible causes are; a faulty or old coil which you’ll need to change for a new one. The wattage setting on your device may be at the wrong level also. Each tank has a sweet spot and if it is too low, it cannot heat the coil properly and this could lead to flooding and gurgling. Try upping the wattage/voltage so it is within the preferred range and this should get it working again.

Check your e-liquid level as too much can result in the gurgling and spit back problem. Another cause of problems could be taking too strong a pulls on your mouthpiece. Try taking softer draws with a slightly loosened air intake. If all the above fails, try checking all the seals and connections on your vape. The tank needs to be well sealed and air tight, so check for any loosened areas where air could be getting in.

Battery Won’t Charge

Your battery will fully charge in 3-5 hours and if left plugged in after it’s fully charged it will still start to lose power. The majority of batteries will last a few months before you need to change them, so if it isn’t charging there could be a few reasons. Check that there is no gunk around the connection that could be hampering the power up. Just like with your coil, e-juice or grime can get stuck and cause the battery not to work. Also, inspect the charging cord end and clean with alcohol if necessary.

E-liquid is Leaking Out

Your vape may leak due to a few different reasons. Each brand will have more susceptible zones, but it’s usually due to a few common reasons. If you over fill your tank this can cause leakage and cause parts not to function. Make sure you select an e-liquid that’s compatible with your tank, as some juices do not work well with certain tanks and can cause problems.

Check if your tank is over-tightened as this can lead to damage to the O-ring and possibly cause cracks in the tank. Are the O rings in your tank or coil missing or damaged, as this can lead to leakage and may need to be replaced. Another thing to keep in mind is; if you’ve left your tank in extremities of cold or hot which could lead to a leak.
