Learn How to Fix Your Vape in A Few Simple Steps

Vaping is a fun social experience to share with friends or maybe it lets you get your daily dose of nicotine and helps you throw away your cigarette habit? Whatever your reasons for vaping, you’re likely to run into a few problems from time to time and it can be annoying to have to wait to get it fixed. Most of the problems are easily fixable by you very quickly if you have the right guidance. If you find a problem with your vape, have a read through the range of solutions below and you’ll be back vaping again super quick.

Mod Displaying ‘Atomizer Low’

This could mean many things depending on the mod you’re using, but most of the time it stems from what resistance your coil is set at. The mod may be reading that the coil in your tank is at a lower resistance than the lowest allowed resistance for your mod. This means the coil and the mod are not compatible and you’ll need to try out a different one.

Another reason could be a broken coil, a faulty 510 connection on the device or a loosely placed coil. To fix this, check the coil is aligned correctly and screwed in tightly. If this still doesn’t work, purchase a new coil and see if you get a correct reading.

Mod Displaying ‘No Atomizer’

The majority of the time, this means you have a loosely seated coil or a dead coil. Check that the coil is attached correctly and check that the coil is screwed in with sufficient tightness. If this doesn’t work, it could be a faulty 510 connection due to a gunk build up on the connection points of your tank and mod. Also, check the centre pin is not out of balance and maybe not making a clear connection.

Try a full clean out of the tank and mods 510 thread area and put back together to see what happens. The centre pin in your mod needs to rest close enough to the outside area to make a connection meaning you need to inspect this. If it has moved in, some devices have holes where you can adjust this or you can just gently pull it up with tweezers to connect to the tank.

Not Getting Any or Enough Vapour

If you’re not getting any vapour at all, this could mean your coil is either loosely seated or completely burnt out. Try tightening and adjusting the coil to make sure it’s seated correctly. If this doesn’t work, try replacing it with a new coil. If vapour production is not enough, you may want to change to a device that provides less resistance and creates higher amounts of vapour. You should also inspect the voltage/wattage you’re using and adjust accordingly.

Vapour Has a Burnt Taste

Getting a burnt taste in your mouth is not nice and is usually caused by; the need of a new coil or you’ve topped up your tank with e-liquid and haven’t given the wick enough time to soak in the liquid. Remember, each time you refill your tank you need to give it five minutes to rest. Clean out the tank or completely change the coil if you need to eradicate a burnt taste.
